The Women’s Connection’s 6th Annual International Women Author Series event

In partnership with area libraries, the Women’s Connection welcomes Geraldine Brooks, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of March, Year of Wonders and Caleb’s Crossing to the Sixth Annual International Women Authors Series Event.

Geraldine BrooksGeraldine Brooks is an Australian born author, but she is connected to all corners of the globe and several time periods through the women in her writings. Brooks is a former journalist, and served as a foreign correspondent in Bosnia, Somalia and the Middle East. The women she met on assignment and her journalistic instinct to listen intently to their stories influenced her writing and transformed her into an author.See the Women’s Connection Event Page for details about the author. Event location: Rogalski Center, St. Ambrose University, Davenport

Cost: $40 for members and non-members, $350 for table of 10 (If you are a book club, please note your book club’s name in registration form)

*Dinner will be served
