Well, you need look no further than the closest computer. The current generation of the World Wide Web offers a spate of  Web based applications dedicated to self-publishing . Here are links to some of the most  popular sites:   Publish and sell print-on-demand books and e-books or create custom calendars, and photo albums.  Publish and share poems, short stories, scripts, plays, etc.

Mixbook  Publish and share photo books, photo albums and scrapbooks.  

SharedBook  Publish your blog, website, or other Web based content as a book.

Glypho Write your own story or collaborate with other users by contributing content to an existing story.
