Did you miss out on National Library Week at the SAU Library the week of April 12th? If so, here are some highlights, and by the way, next year’s celebration will be the week of April 11th-17th.
Airplane Contest
Nine years and going strong! Students, staff and children from the SAU Children’s Campus joined in the fun of making a paper airplane and launching them from the third floor balcony.

Ready, set, go!
A new activity this year was “Why I love the SAU Library” video. Check it out below!
Bookmark Contest
Matthew Wiese, son of SAU staff member Suzanne Wiese was the winner of the 2nd annual Bookmark Contest. For his efforts, Matthew received a canvas tote with his design and a $20 gift card to Border’s. Stop by and pick up a copy of the winning bookmark at the library circulation and reference desks.

SAU Hip Hop Team
The library’s atrium provided a new venue for the SAU Hip Hop Team, and their performance during National Library Week was well received by patrons. Many took a study break and gathered along the balcony railings for a bird’s eye view.
